We had the pleasure of hosting a discussion panel with our published poets in this year’s Emirates Airline Festival of Literature 2020. In the session, we explored how our poets navigate their emotions in a language that may not be their mother tongue but is where they find their creative voice. We also talk about the themes these poets like to write about, how challenging it can be to do so in a society like ours, the effect of social media on the writing process, and so much more.
