My eagerness was to improve my current state with the best attitude has always pushed me to update everything into a healthy version.  Exactly ten years ago, my consciousness shifted to a new realization. The realization of replacing the negative with a positive attitude toward life.

To replace a bad habit with a good one, you will have to establish a progressive mindset to achieve the sought habit. Affirming and re-confirming yourself every single day by injecting yourself with positive words, and gradually visualizing the sought state to strengthen your point. As visualization will play an agent toward improvement.

Hence, in this article, I will discuss thoroughly how to overcome a bad habit, how to associate yourself with a healthy attitude, and how to commit yourself with no looking back.

Overcoming a bad habit was considered a hard chore to many, if not all. The hardship here lays within the trial and error, how many times you have failed to commit? Usually, one of the things that take us back to an old habit would be seeking comfort after a miserable day. Other factors such as dullness, loneliness, people around you, and no set goals and so forth will play an integral part as well.  All of these could trigger back bad habits in your life. Now, how to overcome when you have tried so many times? The answer is to commit, focus, and realize where the weakness is coming from. If the urge is coming from loneliness and boredom, then consider changing the environment you are in. If it is coming from nostalgia- then reassuring your goals will grant you happiness, self-confidence, and strength in character. Searching down the roots of your action will always help you to identify where is the calling coming from.

Building up a healthy attitude toward life, yourself and your own perspective will establish synchronicity with the universe. Consequently, such a strong bond will always put you on the right path of beating bad habits. In return, preserving a healthy attitude will improve your “self-worth”. Therefore, anchoring the feeling while achieving a healthy habit will plant it deep within the self.  Feelings of pride, joy, success, self-worth and so forth.

Twisting bad habits with good ones will consume time to manifest back to reality. Habits will always find their way through consistency and practice. Believing in one’s self is another thing to look for. You will always look back to your old reflection and slip again with no second thought. As “Old habits die hard”, maintaining your newly adopted habits would always be twittered under circumstances of weakness, dullness, emptiness, hankering memories, and the shadow of yesterday. Therefore, to win the situation always repeat doing what you set your mind on, and stop giving yourself excuses.

Now, committing yourself to the desired state is intertwined with ditching old habits for the new. Therefore, visualization will always establish conformity with the new, by securing a place of strength and fulfillment.

Furthermore, visualizing yourself into the desired state will pick the good and dispose the downward path you don’t wish to be in.
